Atlas Copco recently entered into an agreement with Altor 2003 Fun to purchase Dynapac of Sweden, a supplier of compaction and paving equipment for the road construction market. The acquisition is the first for Atlas Copco within the compaction segment. The total purchase price is estimated at $898.1 million U.S. dollars, with approximately $299.4 million in assumed debt.
Dynapac has 2,100 employees and annual revenue of approximately $655.7 million.
