United Rentals recently purchased the equipment rental and sales assets of Carter Rental of Valdosta, Ga. Carter Rental has two locations and annual revenues of approximately $10 million.
“Carter’s operations are ideally positioned to complement our branch network serving southern Georgia and northern Florida,” said Kenneth Perkins, vice president, Southeast region, for United Rentals. “The acquisition enhances our ability to share equipment and provide expert solutions to customers in the region.”
