Atlas Copco has acquired BLM, adding the Italian control instruments and torque measurement manufacturer to its tools and assembly systems division. The division makes hand-held electric and pneumatic tools and assembly systems.
BLM specializes in torque and tightening testing equipment with 90 percent of its sales going to the motor vehicle industry. The company has 44 employees.
