Newly formed private equity firm Struxture Investors announced Sept. 12 it will focus on the construction and infrastructure markets. The company says it will invest equity capital in exceptional middle-market firms that have a sustainable competitive advantage and potential for profitable growth. Struxture says it is one of few private equity firms concentrating on this industry sector, which includes product manufacturers and distributors, construction and mining equipment manufacturers, designers, contractors and service providers. The company has a strategic relationship with FMI, a management consulting and investment banking firm focused solely on the construction industry.
