For powering pavement breakers, chipping hammers, sandblasters and other pneumatic tools, the new Atlas Copco XAS 97 JD air compressor delivers 185 cfm at 100 psi while generating only 74 decibels of noise. The unit’s powder-coated, galvanneal steel canopy provides better corrosion resistance and durability. Road lights come as standard equipment, and for towing stability, the XAS 97 JD is equipped with a heavy-duty axle and bias-ply tires. A new compressor element with a CNC-machined rotor profile is 20 percent more efficient. The hinged upper cover provides unobstructed access to service points.
