Takeuchi U.S. celebrates 25th anniversary

Takeuchi Mfg. U.S. celebrated its 25th anniversary the week of Oct. 11. Takeuchi U.S. introduced the first compact excavator to the American market in February 1979. Clay Eubanks, president of Takeuchi U.S., says the company’s success in the U.S. market is the result of its intense focus on the compact equipment user. Today the company’s products include a zero swing excavator and a complete line of compact rubber track loaders. Parent company Takeuchi Mfg. recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. Founded in 1963 by Akio Takeuchi, the parent company is headquartered in Nagano, Japan.
