Oshkosh Truck completes Jerr-Dan purchase

Oshkosh Truck announced July 9 it has completed its $80 million acquisition of Jerr-Dan, a towing and recovery equipment manufacturer, from an affiliate of Littlejohn & Co. Oshkosh Truck announced an agreement to buy Jerr-Dan June 1, saying the acquisition would help Oshkosh expand its product lines and distribution network. Jerr-Dan will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Oshkosh Truck, a manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies for the defense, fire and emergency, concrete placement and refuse hauling markets.
