Joy Global and Oldenburg Group have signed a letter of intent authorizing Joy Mining Machinery and P&H Mining Equipment to become the exclusive distributors for Oldenburg mining equipment and related parts and service in China, India, Russia and Poland. The letter of intent provides for further discussions between the two companies prior to a formal contract. Among the products Joy and P&H will distribute are those under the Oldenburg Stamler, Oldenburg Cannon and Oldenburg brand names. Wayne Oldenburg, CEO of Oldenburg Group, said the alliance would eliminate duplicate costs and enhance the company’s ability to provide its customers with products and aftermarket service at the lowest cost per ton.
