Leica Geosystems recently added an automatic height alert as a standard feature on its Rugby 100 construction laser. The function will trigger an alert condition if the laser is disturbed for any reason during operation. It prevents errors due to tripod movement or bumps.
The Rugby 100 provides automatic self-leveling for concrete forming, pad placement and framework, setting foundations and footings, as well as elevation indication for heavy equipment. The machine is designed to be durable and work in all weather and job site conditions, with a co-molded housing of high-impact plastic and rubber that is waterproof and dustproof.
