Collier, Florida – construction equipment

Glenn Allen Stallcup, of Fort Myers, Florida, was convicted and sentenced to a little over a year in prison for the theft of a generator and diesel fuel. Lee County Deputies recovered more than $400,000 in stolen goods by tracking a trailer’s LoJack device that led authorities to a detached garage at 861 Third St. S.W. of Golden Gate Estates. Upon searching the property deputies found a stolen generator, three trailers, fuel, an ATV, a Takeuchi loader, a TM loader, a Bobcat skid steer, a Ford F350 and a Volvo loader. Two weeks later deputies recovered more than $100,000 in construction equipment at the Majestic Sprinklers and Landscaping Company in Naples, Florida. A $48,000 JLG lift, a $40,000 John Deere compact excavator, and a $30,000 Komatsu compact loader were among the equipment recovered. The manager of Majestic Sprinklers and Landscaping informed investigators that the business had purchased the excavator and loader from Stallcup and was renting the lift from him.
