United Rentals has announced the appointment of John J. Fahey as vice president – controller, effective immediately. He will continue to serve as the company’s principal accounting officer.
Fahey joined United Rentals in 2005 as vice president – assistant corporate controller. In 2006, he assumed the additional role of principal accounting officer. Fahey’s prior experience includes senior positions as manager – corporate business development with Xerox Corporation; vice president and chief financial officer with Xerox Engineering Systems and vice president – finance and controller with Faulding Pharmaceutical Company.
