Caterpillar recently named George Taylor director of Caterpillar Power Systems North America. Taylor, who last served as the marketing manager for the Caterpillar Asia Pacific Marketing Division in Singapore, will be responsible for the on-highway engine business including line haul, over-the-road and vocation trucks, buses and RVs.
Taylor will also lead field service operations and parts marketing for the division’s business sectors, which include electric power, marine, petroleum and industrial engines.
Taylor is replacing Jim McReynolds, who has been chosen to lead the Caterpillar Global Paving division.
