Leica Geosystems launches marketing, planning initiative

Leica Geosystems has launched a project to enhance product marketing and planning in the Americas and has named Valerie Richardson to the newly created position of vice president, strategic marketing and business development. Richardson will lead product marketing, marketing communications, customer care and order entry, channel marketing, management of partners programs, sales and marketing training and market intelligence. Prior to joining Leica, she was vice president, marketing and business development for a division of Invensys, a supplier of electronic and electromechanical systems and components.
