Equipment World launches expanded e-newsletter

In conjunction with the recent redesign of its website, equipmentworld.com, Equipment World magazine is launching a new weekly e-newsletter to reach construction industry professionals with its expanded Web content.

The newsletter features links to daily construction industry news at equipmentworld.com, which is updated daily with original, staff-written articles. The Industry Briefs section of the newsletter replaces Equipment World‘s Flash Facts newsletter and contains news about equipment manufacturers, as well as component, parts and service providers, dealers and rental companies. The Product Picks area showcases the industry’s freshest introductions, ranging from heavy machines to GPS technology and computer software.

“The purpose of our redesign is to provide a single news source for everyone connected to our industry,” said Gregg Terry, associate publisher of Equipment World.

Once at equipmentworld.com, you can browse additional information, including economic news covering such topics as construction spending trends and material shortages. A listing of state-by-state diesel fuel price averages – updated daily – is new to the site, as is a report on monthly changes in construction material prices and current stock prices of the industry’s public companies. Articles in the Nuts and Bolts section illustrate the humorous or unusual side of the construction business.

Equipment World welcomes feedback about the format and design of both our website and newsletter. We are always looking for content ideas and striving for improvement, so please let us know what we can do to make equipmentworld.com more useful to you. Send comments or suggestions by clicking here.
