CIT Construction president retires, replacement named

Roy Keller, president of CIT Construction, will retire Aug. 31 after working for CIT Group for 27 years. The company has appointed Ron Riecks to succeed him.

Keller joined CIT in 1978 as a district sales manager. Over the years, his responsibilities have included overseeing all sales, credit and service activities for manufacturers, distributors and end users in construction, transportation, business aircraft, materials handling, energy and inland waterways industries in North America.

“Roy has had a remarkable career at CIT and we thank him for his many years of service and the invaluable contributions he made over the years,” said Rick Wolfert, vice chairman of CIT Commercial Finance. “His distinguished expertise has helped position CIT Construction as a leading lender.”

Ron Riecks will be executive vice president and group head of CIT’s construction unit. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction division including sales, credit, funding and customer relationships for CIT Construction North America.
