Volvo Construction Equipment Rents has signed a franchise agreement for a rental center in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Deerfoot Rentals will open the fifth Volvo Rents franchise under contract in Alberta and the sixth in Canada. Deerfoot Rentals has been in business since 1998 and will immediately begin operating as a Volvo Rents location. Principal Volvo products for franchised rental centers include compact excavators and wheel loaders and backhoes and skid steer loaders. Volvo Rents began its franchise initiative in 2001 and now has more than 60 equipment rental centers.
