Komatsu America has appointed Alex Kummant executive vice president and chief marketing officer. In this newly created role, Kummant will have responsibility for the mining and utility business segments as well as for the marketing functions of the construction equipment business. He was most recently president of Bomag and has also worked for Emerson Electric and Union Pacific Railroad.
