ATS Asset Tracking Services announced Feb. 7 it has changed its name to Longview Advantage, which the company says more accurately incorporates its market opportunities and the solutions it provides. “When we started in this business, we couldn’t imagine the versatility and opportunities our combined GPS, cellular and Internet technologies had to offer,” said Don Douglas, president and chief executive. “We had to change to show where we are going.” Longview Advantage also has a new logo, advertising campaign and corporate website. Douglas said the new name reflects the company’s commitment to offer customers innovative “long view” solutions to managing their assets.
