Enerpac parent company buys Hedley Purvis

Enerpac parent company Actuant announced Jan. 20 it has purchased the shares of Hedley Purvis Holdings, a United Kingdom-based company that designs and manufactures products including torque wrenches, multipliers, tensioners and pumps. Hedley Purvis also provides rental, manpower and other services to companies such as BP, Mobil and Texaco. Robert Arzbaecher, president and chief executive of Actuant, says Hedley Purvis’ product and service portfolio complements the Enerpac business. Hedley Purvis will reside in Actuant’s Tools & Supplies segment and will report to the Enerpac business. “We believe the combination of Hedley Purvis’ bolting product and service network with Enerpac’s hydraulics expertise and distribution competencies will offer customers a complete bolting solution provider,” said Mark Goldstein, president of Actuant’s Tools & Supplies segment. Enerpac is a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, presses, tools, bolting tools, accessories and system components for the manufacturing and construction industries.
