Terex aligns business units, products into roadbuilding division

Terex has aligned several business units and product groups into Terex Roadbuilding. Terex CMI, Bid-Well, Terex Cifali, Terex Belgium, Terex Advance Mixers and Cedarapids Asphalt pavers will be affected by the new structure. Terex Roadbuilding will consist of four business units along with their engineering, sales and service groups. The asphalt plant group, led by general manager David Emerson, will serve asphalt producers and will include asphalt plants formerly branded CMI, Cedarapids and Standard-Havens. The asphalt mobile equipment group, led by general manager Mark Hunt will serve asphalt contractors and its product line will include colder planers, reclaimer/stabilizers and asphalt pavers formerly branded Cedarapids and CMI. A new concrete ready-mix truck and plant group, led by vice president and general manager Dale Jones will serve concrete producers and include ready-mix trucks and concrete plants formerly branded Advance Mixer and CMI. The concrete mobile equipment group, also led by Jones, will serve concrete contractors. Its product line includes Bid-Well pavers, slip form pavers, spreaders, material placers, trimmers and concrete plants formerly branded CMI and Johnson-Ross.

General manager Lin Stark will lead Terex Cifali in Brazil, serving the Mexican, Central and South American markets, while continuing in her role as vice president of finance and administration. Everette Vardaman will continue to lead the Load King family of products, but will report to Paul Caldarazzo, vice president business systems planning under the aerial work platform organization.
