International offers new lease program for 4200 model

International Truck and Engine Corporation announced last month a lease program for all International 4000 Series trucks.

The program, “Step up and Save” features a special $599/per month offer and a lease term that can vary from three to six years with zero down payment. The program is valid on 2005 model year International 4200 trucks equipped with a manual transmission, International VT 365 engine at 200 horsepower, 24-foot dry van, with a GVW of 25,500-pounds.

“Backed by comprehensive parts, service and financial support from the industry’s largest dealer network, customers who lease a truck will receive a great package of value-added features,” Mike Elwell, marketing director of International Truck and Engine Corporation said.

In order to take advantage of the program, vehicles must be leased or ordered between July 1 through September 30, 2004, and the leasing must be financed through International Finance Group. The $599 monthly lease payment is based on a 60-month term lease.

“This ‘Step up and Save’ lease program offers fleet owners or small business owners the opportunity to lease a quality International medium truck with minimal investment,” said Tom Guse, vice president of International Finance Group.

According to International leasing has become more popular in the truck sector lately, because it save the operators money because there is no down payment, and the truck leases can be structured where the customer has no liability.
