Astec makes management changes at Roadtec

Astec Industries has made several management changes regarding its Roadtec subsidiary. The company appointed Jeff Richmond president of the Roadtec division. He had been working as vice president and general manager for Roadtec. He will be responsible for all facets of Roadtec’s asphalt paver, cold planer and materical transfer vehicle business. Astec named John Irvine vice president, sales and marketing. Irvine is new to the Roadtec division and will be responsible for all sales and marketing functions with an emphasis on territory coverage and product training. Dave Swearingen, formerly chief engineer, paving products, for Roadtec, is now vice president, engineering. He will be responsible for all engineering and design functions. The company has appointed Jeff Smith, a 15-year veteran of Roadtec, vice president, product support. He most recently worked as parts and service manager.
