Trimble to acquire TracerNet

Trimble announced Feb. 17 it plans to acquire privately held TracerNet, a Chantilly, Virginia-based provider of wireless fleet management solutions. Terms of the cash transaction were not disclosed. Trimble’s mobile solutions division and TracerNet will be consolidated as Trimble Mobile Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trimble.
