Fil Filipov, president and chief executive of Terex Cranes, will retire from full-time employment with the company Jan. 1. He will continue working with Terex through a newly formed consulting business focused on restructuring activities. Initially, Filipov and his company will assist with the restructuring, integration and operation of Tatra, a manufacturer of on/off road heavy-duty vehicles located in the Czech Republic. He will continue in his role as chairman of the supervisory board of Tatra. Filipov’s son Steve will take over as president of Terex Cranes.
