JLG announced Oct. 6 that telehandler production has begun at its manufacturing facility in McConnellsburg, Pa. The units were formerly produced at the OmniQuip plant in Port Washington, Wis. The last Sky Trak machine came off the assembly line in Port Washington Sept. 17, and production of Sky Trak units at the McConnellsburg facility began Sept. 25. JLG announced Aug. 4 it had purchased the OmniQuip business unit of Textron. JLG purchased the assets of Trak International, which include all operations relating to the Sky Trak and Lull brand telehandler products.
