Get 3D Machine Control Without Breaking the Bank

Though 3D machine control has been on the market for a while now and its benefits are well-documented, only a small portion of the industry uses it. Eighty percent of construction contractors do not use machine control technology, according to Randy Noland, VP Global Sales & Business Development at Hemisphere GNSS, because cost and complexity still form major barriers to entry.

Hemisphere is setting out to change that with its new GradeMetrix system, which offers full 2D, 2.5D (in-field design), and 3D machine control at half the price of its closest competitors. Best of all, the system is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, so that even inexperienced operators can learn how to use it quickly.

“We have focused our product line to be simple, to be easier to install, and to be easier to support,” Noland says. GradeMetrix uses an open architecture that allows it to work with your existing base stations and machines. GradeMetrix also includes all available GNSS signals and RTK options without any additional activation fees required, all backed by a 3-year warranty.
