Carlisle’s TyrFil flatproofing has developed a great reputation among equipment operators and tire vendors due to extending tire life and improving ride quality. Brian Finz, president of Heavy Duty Tire, LLC, told Equipment World’s Bryan Furnace that he not only recommends TyrFil-filled tires to his customers, but uses them on his own vehicles.
Finz says TyrFil’s foam fill “maximizes the life of the tire. It provides a good ride—a firm foundation for the machine to operate on—and keeps the machine running for maximum uptime.”
TyrFil also removes the fear of flat tires for operators. Because TyrFil tires replace the air in pneumatic tires with an elastomer core, they never go flat or depressurize. Finz points out that’s very important for the equipment rental industry.
“The equipment rental industry is all about equipment utilization,” Finz says. “They want their equipment running and their customer able to use it. Nothing’s worse than having a piece of equipment on rent and it goes down because of a flat tire.”
