WorkHands iPhone app profile pageA few weeks ago, we told you about a great new social network called WorkHands. Styled after LinkedIn, WorkHands wants to give employers a direct line to the 20 million skilled trades workers in the U.S.

Today, WorkHands has a launched a free iPhone app giving users the ability to build and manage their work portfolios and connect with colleagues and employers on the go.

The app allows workers to upload photos of their work to the social network in addition to the functionality of the website including uploading their required licenses and certifications editing their work experience.

The app also allows workers to view what their friends and colleagues are up as well as search for jobs and share a WorkHands-generated resume.

More features are currently in development for the app. As for a version for Android devices, that’s in the works as well.

You can download WorkHands from the iTunes App Store by clicking here.
