VIDEO: Volvo equipment demo/dance showcases nimble giants

Volvo Equipment Demo 2013It takes a lot of skill to run construction machines. Being able to run them in a choreographed sequence at high speed in a crowded field–that’s taking it to the next level.

As part of its Innovation Days festivities in Eskilstuna, Sweden last week, Volvo Construction Equipment treated the press to this high octane equipment rodeo. The show had a bit of everything from a pioneer comedy skit to a demonstration of the company’s first loader and articulated hauler to a move where excavators grabbed the beds of moving articulated trucks and tilted them over on their sides as they turned in circles around the excavators.

In terms of operator skill, it doesn’t get much better than this. We captured the highlights for you here in this video.
