Prevent premature damage with Chicago Pneumatic’s rivet busters

Chicago Pneumatics rivet busters feature a Controlled Power System (CPS) that will help prevent premature equipment damage by disabling blank firing when a unit’s bumpers have worn out. The CPS prevents damaging blank fires when the rubber bumper is 75-percent worn by opening bleeding ports for air which causes the piston to stop in its lower position as air is exhausted above the tool retainer. Previous CPS models with worn bumpers would transmit excess energy into the front end of the cylinder during blank fires, leading to costly and premature equipment breakage.
