Grader clears more obstacles with improved ground clearance
Manage high ground clearance and a tight turning radius with the re-engineered front axle on Champion Motor Graders’ C Series single-axle drive compact graders. Now raised 6 inches higher, the ground clearance of the C Series front axle tops 22 inches. Like the Champion C80 C and C86 C models, the C60 C and C66 C graders have been redesigned with new moldboards, blade lift arrangement and a stronger mount for the articulation cylinder. The box-type axle design provides height to hide the steering cylinder, tie rod and other moving parts behind the axle and offers additional protection to critical parts.

M Series telehandlers meet a range of lift requirements
Built with a low profile, low-boom design for greater visibility at boom height and pick-and carry-levels, the New Holland M427, M428 and M459 telehandlers work easily in tight, hard-to-reach areas. The telehandlers meet a variety of lift-and- place and lift-and-carry requirements, and are sized to work in commercial and residential construction, agriculture and landscaping. All have operating weights of more than 20,000 pounds, maximum lift heights of at least 42 feet and lift capacities of up to 5,000 pounds. The M427 and M428 offer a forward reach of 29 feet, while the M459 has a reach of 31 feet. The machines have turning radii of 153 inches and feature three steering modes for improved maneuverability.

Upgraded cab option eliminates dust and debris entry
Mustang has upgraded its air conditioning/heater system to create an optional pressurized cab for each of its three compact track loaders – the MTL16, MTL20 and MTL25. Mustang track loader cabs equipped with this option now have pressurization similar to modern agricultural tractor cabs, virtually eliminating entry of dust, dirt and debris. Noise is kept at a minimum. The Generation II Air-Conditioning/Heater included in the cab option is comprised of updated interior ducting with six adjustable louvers allowing the operator to control the amount and direction of air flow. Dual, outside air intakes work in conjunction with inside re-circulation filters, minimize dust and dirt that enters the cab and keeps clean air flowing to the operator.

Zero tail swing mini excavator maneuvers in tight areas
Doosan Infracore America’s DX35z compact hydraulic excavator features zero tail swing, which allows the cab of the machine to turn with the width of its tracks and fit into narrow work areas. The electronic optimization of the hydraulic system and the Tier 3 engine increase production and also improve fuel economy. The machine’s rubber tracks offer greater non-slip and grip capabilities with less harm to sidewalks and road surfaces than conventional steel tracks.

Lightweight toolbox protects contents from the elements
Fontaine PartSource’s Ultimate Tool Box for flatbed and drop-deck trailers features a rugged design for greater durability, yet is lightweight enough to maximize payload. Two T-handle twist locks offer easy operation and are keyed alike for convenience. Industrial strength aluminum construction provides corrosion resistance and longer service life. The box’s heavy weather seals protect contents from the elements and ensure a tight, secure fit. Available in two-door and one-door models, the Ultimate Tool Box comes in either 18- or 24-inch depths. The two-door model is also reversible so the twist locks can be on the left or the right.

Pipe tongs feature newly expanded capacities
Construction Lifters’ Model 108 Pipe Tong are now available in six sizes from 2 to 15 inches wide and capacities up to 1 ton to fit a wide range of applications. The Pipe Tongs’ can handle pipe, round bars, castings and other round shapes. The tongs’ curved gripping arms provide a positive grip on all types of material. Optional padded tongs protect smooth or polished surfaces from lifter damage.

Increase in hydraulic hammer’s size lends to boost in productivity
The Caterpillar H180D S hydraulic hammer has increased in size for a 15-percent increase in productivity. The hammer weighs 8,600 pounds and fits Cat 345C and 365C hydraulic excavators. An auto shut off feature reduces high stress levels caused by back firing by turning the hammer off when no material is beneath it. The suspension system significantly reduces shock loads transmitted to the machine during hammer operation to improve operator comfort and extend the life of machine components. Other features include standard sound suppression and heavy-duty tie rods to accommodate the increase in performance.

Cooling package allows crawler to run in extreme temperatures
Powered by a 96-horsepower turbo-charged Kubota diesel engine, Rayco’s C100 Super Crawler offers 39 gpm at 5,500 psi for more productivity. The 16-inch steel track undercarriage provides traction and mobility in rough terrain, and the advanced forestry cooling package enables the C100 to run for hours in any temperature without overheating. The heated and/or air-conditioned cab allows the operator to remain comfortable in all climates. Easy access to the engine compartment and cooling system makes cleaning effortless.

Mid-range GPS features one-person survey operations
Leica Geosystem’s GPS900 line works together as a fully scalable mid-range solution for foundation and drainage work, alignment stakeout, instant volume calculations, and topographic and as-built surveys. The Leica GPS900 rover offers a choice of controllers, including the RX900 with internal memory and the RX900c with a one-quarter VGA color display and removable CF-card for data transfer. The Leica ATX900 GG antenna has 72-channels and GNSS technology for satellite tracking. Compatible with both the RX900 and the RX900c, the ATX900 GG delivers fast acquisition and SmartCheck technology to enhance reliability and performance of GPS900 in demanding situations.

Powder-coated truck body withstands tough conditions
Truck Bodies and Equipment International’s Rancher body endures tough conditions with a durable powder-coated paint finish. The body’s rear step bumper has a built-in receiver hitch for quick and safe access. Contemporary taillights and a tapered bulkhead with window compliment the Rancher’s sleek design. A recessed compartment for a gooseneck hitch in the treadplate steel floor adds to convenience.
