Manitou’s EDGE Extreme Duty High Reach Tree Clipper is designed to keep trees and limbs from getting wedged between its blades.Manitou Americas’ new EDGE Extreme Duty High Reach Tree Clipper features a rugged design and is capable of cutting hardwoods up to 9 inches in diameter, even at ground level, the company says.
The compact loader attachment has longer upper and lower plates that strengthen the clipper head, which has an easy-release feature to keep limbs and trees from wedging between the blades. The clipper also has self-cleaning spacers, self-centering T-1 tempered steel blades, and two extra bars on the mount for added stability.
Manitou says the EDGE Extreme Duty is more rugged than the Heavy Duty model and is designed for the commercial and rental markets. It comes with a wireless remote with transmitter, receiver, battery, charger and steel storage box. The machine also comes with hoses, couplers, a solenoid valve and a valve guard.
