Bloomberg reported last week that some of the nation’s largest homebuilders (at least those that are still solvent) are buying up land for developments in anticipation of a turn around in the homebuilding economy. With lots selling for 50 to 75 percent less  than at the peak of the housing boom it only makes sense.
