As highlighted in the August issue of Equipment World, trend prices for the top 10 grader models sold at auction are on the upswing, but still have a ways to go from their five-year-plus peak of $156,585 in February 2007.
According to the TopBid auction price service, the top auction price during the May 2011-May 2012 period was paid for a 2008 Caterpillar 14M at a Cat Auction Services auction on Feb. 28, 2012.
