Vacuworx, booth K185

Vacuworx will bring its lighter, smaller, more versatile AMC 4 and AMC 6 vacuum lifters. The lift systems are designed to work in congested streets or other tight areas on compact to mid-sized excavators and truck-mounted articulating cranes without significantly reducing the host machine’s lifting power. Vacuworx will also showcase its CM 3 Compact Modular Vacuum Lifting System designed to allow skid steers, compact track loaders, articulating wheel loaders and compact excavators to handle materials such as concrete slabs, steel plates and pipe, and it will bring its SL 2 Subcompact Vacuum Lifting System, formerly known as the SS 2.

Vermeer, booth K225

Vermeer will showcase the newest additions to its lineup of directional drills, tractors, compact skid steers, reclaimers and productivity tools for the utility market. That includes the D10x15 horizontal directional drill for small service installation. Vermeer has added more power than the predecessor machine, the D10x13, for faster drilling time while also reducing noise. Carriage speed has been increased 11 percent over the previous model, spindle speed has been increased up to 16 percent and tractive-effort-to-weight ratio has been increased nearly 50 percent.

Volvo, booth K335

Volvo plans to have eight machines in its booth available for demo and operation, including four new models making their North American debut: the EC27D compact excavator, L20H compact wheel loader and D-series skid steer and compact track loaders. Company representatives will also show Volvo’s ActiveCare Direct telematics monitoring and reporting service, and visitors to the booth can check out a virtual reality experience in an excavator simulator.
