What to see at ICUEE 2017: Caterpillar, Case, American Augers in Area K

ICUEE is preparing for record exhibit space for the October 3-5 Demo Show at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

Here is a sample of some of the equipment ICUEE attendees will see in Area K:

Caterpillar, booth K135

Cat’s M315F wheeled excavatorCat’s M315F wheeled excavator

Caterpillar will exhibit its M315F wheeled excavator, which features large working envelopes, high breakout forces and high lifting capacities, the company says. The M315F has an operating weight of 34,810 to 39,370 pounds and runs on a 150-horsepower Tier 4 Final Cat engine. The engine automatically lowers speed when maximum power is not needed. It also can run in Eco Mode to reduce speed and save fuel, has an automatic shift-to-travel mode and cruise control. Cat also plans to bring its 304.5E2 XTC compact excavator and a an F2 Series backhoe loader.

Case’s SV340 skid steerCase’s SV340 skid steer

Case will show its most powerful skid steer, the SV340, and its six-model lineup of compact excavators. The SV340 is rated at 3,400 pounds operating capacity and has a bucket breakout force of 9,531 pounds. Case gave the skid steer a stronger lift arm, H-link and upper chassis and optional high-flow hydraulics. Case’s C Series compact excavators will also be on display at ICUEE. The six models in the series range from the CX17C, with 16.8 horsepower and weighing 3,910 pounds, to the CX60C at 64.7 horsepower and 12,940 pounds.

American Augers will demonstrate its new M-300D Mud Cleaning System, its 36/42-600E Electric Auger Boring Machine and the DD-110 20-foot rig. A schedule of events will be posted in the American Augers booth, and anyone who attends a demo will receive an American Augers and Trencor hat.
