Back on December 10, 2012 the 2 millionth Cummins engine for Ram Trucks rolled down the assembly line at the Columbus MidRange Engine plant. In celebration, Cummins strapped a video camera along for the engine’s ride down the line and have put together a really cool video that chronicles the whole build.
The engine being built is a 2012 6.7-liter High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel. This is the engine that powers the Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups and is also available in the Ram 3500/4500/5500 chassis cabs.
