This excavator is using an honest to God shovel where the bucket goes

The video below comes to us via Avery Springer on Twitter and shows an excavator operator who has chosen one of the…uh…simpler(?)…attachments at his disposal.

The clip below is only about five seconds long, so we’d love to know how long this was actually going on for.
