Last piece of world’s highest bridge set in place in China

The CCTV News video below shows the last section of the Beipanjiang Bridge being set in place. Suspended 565 meters (1,854 feet) above the Nizhu River Canyon in China where the Yunnan and Guizhou provinces meet, the bridge will be the highest in the world.

The bridge, which was officially completed on September 3 took as many as 1,000 engineers and technicians to construct over a period of three years. It is expected to open before the end of the year.
