How to charge your truck battery with a chainsaw

In the event that we ever wander off into remote woods to cut some firewood and return to a truck with a dead battery, well, now we know how to get out of that jam.

Joking aside, the video below displays a heck of a lot of ingenuity and know-how and could come in handy at a time where you and those around you don’t have jumper cables. There was a helpful tidbit in the comments though. If you ever try this, you’ll need to have the key on so the alternator can create charge.

We know one thing for sure, we’ll be keeping a chainsaw and an old fan belt in our truck at all times, just in case…
