Trimble names Dimensions speakers

Trimble has announced the keynote speakers for its international user conference, Trimble Dimensions 2009. The conference will be held February 23-25, 2009 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The focus of the conference will be on applying technology to meet the daily needs faced by surveying, engineering, construction, mapping, Geographic Information System (GIS), geospatial and mobile resource management professionals. Listed below are the keynote speakers for Trimble Dimensions 2009:

  • Steven Berglund, president and CEO of Trimble, will discuss how vision and innovation has changed the landscape for surveyors, contractors, engineers and geospatial professionals to transform the way work is done.
  • Dr. Robert Kriegel teaches “out of the box” strategies for keeping ahead of the changes, challenges and competition in today’s dynamic marketplace. Author of the international bestseller: If it ain’t broke…BREAK IT!, Dr. Kriegel has been called by U.S. News & World Report one of this country’s leading authorities in the field of change and human performance. His book, Sacred Cows Make The Best Burgers, made Business Week’s bestseller list.
  • Former Chairman of Harley Davidson, author of national best-seller More Than a Motorcycle and Harvard Business Review article Leadership U-Turn, Richard Teerlink advocates a “participative change” model as the only way meaningful reinvention can succeed.
  • Dr. Steve Squyres uses his Mars Exploration Rover (MER) mission experience to discuss key aspects of management techniques such as innovation, creativity, and teamwork to create an environment of success. He is a Goldwin Smith Professor of Astronomy at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and is the principal investigator for the science payload on the MER Project.
