Gm Service Body Vocational 002 ScaledRunnion Equipment is expanding its Knapheide body offerings, and now offers Knapheide’s full line of service/utility and dump bodies.

The new capabilities will be in addition to Runnion’s use of Knapheide bodies for the company’s offering of National Crane boom trucks and Palfinger knucklebooms.

“This is an exciting opportunity for us,” says Michael Prochot, Runnion president. “Knapheide is a first-class family owned company with an outstanding product line.”

The company plans to use its skills in servicing and mounting truck-mounted cranes to enter other upfitting markets.

Started in 1975 by Earle and Dorothy Runnion, the company’s primary service areas are northern Illinois, northwest Indiana and southern Wisconsin.
