PHOTOS: With tracks, wheels and even a faucet, Kohler turns Polaris UTV into “ultimate construction vehicle”

At ICUEE last week, Kohler Engines had some new electronic fuel injection engines to show off but those weren’t the only hardware it brought to the show.

The company also brought what it called the “ultimate construction vehicle,” a Polaris utility vehicle outfitted with a host of Kohler products.

As evidenced from this thing’s fully diamond-plated front end, Kohler says the custom-built UTV was inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road. The vehicle is powered by a Kohler diesel engine and is equipped with a generator, tool drawers and both heavy-duty trail tires on the front end and tracks on the rear end. A Kenwood audio system was bumping jams from more speakers than I could count and there was even a water faucet.

It was just a fun project for the booth, but given how cool this thing was, Kohler might want to think about a run at the custom UTV market as a side business.
