Ohio TRAC approves 7 new projects totaling $58.6 million

Ohio Welcome sign archThe Ohio Transportation Review Advisory Council has approved seven construction projects across the state.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Ohio TRAC voted to approve additional funding totaling $58.6 million.

The following are the seven projects approved:

  • Mahoning County: $6 million for construction of a new interchange at I-680 & SR 164.
  • Jefferson County: $900,000 for right-of-way and $37 million for construction of a new bridge over the Ohio River.
  • Belmont County: $3.9 million for construction of a new connector road at Commons Mall Crossing and $3.9 million for construction of a new bridge over I-70.
  • Lucas County:$500,000 for design and $1 million for right-of-way activities for construction of a new interchange at I-475 & US 20A.
  • Lucas County: $500,000 for design and $1.8 million for right-of-way activities for construction of a new interchange at I-475 & Dorr Street.
  • Allen County: $3 million for right-of-way activities for a rail grade separation on SR 309 in Lima.
  • Summit County: $4 million for right-of-way activities for reconstruction of a portion for the central interchange at I-76/I-77/SR 8.
