National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) Asphalt In Depth Conference

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) will hold an Asphalt In Depth Conference June 1–2, 2011 in Nashville. The conference is being co-sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and supported by local state associations.

The conference will center on educational round table discussions lead by industry experts focusing on recycled materials, warm-mix asphalt, and construction. Attendees can earn up to 10.5 professional development hours (PDHs).

This day and a half conference will bring together industry experts, including contractors, agencies, consultants and researchers, who will address construction challenges that are commonly encountered. Topics for discussion will include the following: constructing better longitudinal joints, maximizing RAP content for a mix; the use of warm mix to increase the RAP content of mix, and much more. Participants will have the opportunity to join in round table discussions to develop questions for a panel to answer during an open forum and will receive recordings of the Q&A session as well as copies of the presentations.

A limited number of tabletop exhibit spaces are available for companies looking for an opportunity to showcase their products. For more information, contact Nancy Lawler, [email protected], or Sandy Palacorolla, [email protected], toll-free, 888-468-6499 at the NAPA office.
