HEAVY HANDLER

Pettibone’s Extendo 1530 material handler has a 15,000-pound lifting capacity combined with a 30-foot, 10-inch lift height to haul large loads safely. When configured with an optional front baler attachment, the 1530 can take on highway construction and pipe yard applications. Standard equipment includes full time four-wheel drive planetary axles, four-wheel, two-wheel and crab steering modes and rapid response piston pump hydraulics.

LOCK AND LOAD
John Deere’s 45-horsepower CT315 is the company’s first radial lift compact track loader, and also the smallest with a 12.6-inch-wide track and overall machine width of 60 inches. Although slight in stature, the CT315 has a 1,500-pound rated operating capacity. The radial lift system’s linkage keeps the lift arms close to the machine when lowering the bucket for digging. Bucket and lift cylinders provide smooth deceleration at the end of the boom-lower position and cushion the bucket when dumping loads.

ROAD WARRIOR
Featuring hydrostatic planetary drive at each wheel, Terex Roadbuilding’s 400-horsepower RS445C reclaimer/stabilizer has 40 percent more drawbar pull compared to Terex’s previous model, the RS425C. A center mount cutter assembly positions the machine’s weight over the 96-inch cutting width to keep the rotor from riding out of the cut. Direct mechanical drive maximizes breakout force to deliver high production rates in tough reclamation applications.

MULTI-PURPOSE MACHINE
Haulotte’s Multi-Job MJX is a 360-degree complete rotation backhoe loader, excavator and telescopic loader, with steer and drive functions on both the backhoe and excavator working positions. The machine fits in narrow working areas and can maneuver and unload in the same alignment, as well as load itself. The pressure creep of the 9-ton telescope allows the bucket to be filled with reduced power.

EXCAVATOR UPGRADES
Case Construction Equipment has upgraded its largest excavator – the CX800B – to include an electronically controlled 15.7-liter Isuzu engine with 532 net horsepower. A common rail fuel injection system and redesigned hydraulics increase fuel efficiency and improve productivity. Regenerative hydraulics on the boom and arm speed bucket cycle times and large diameter hydraulic cylinders offer a breakout force of 74,187 pounds.

THREE-IN-ONE
Kubota’s L45 tractor-loader-backhoe provides operators with enough versatility to excavate utility trenches, load or haul materials, till an area or clean up with a box scraper. Powered by a 45-horsepower Kubota diesel engine and a HST Plus transmission, the L45 has a 10-foot digging depth, a lift capacity of 2,200 pounds and a 9-foot, 6-inch lift height. Standard backhoe crawling mode enables the machine to move at creep speed, which saves time repositioning during trenching.

KEEP TRACKIN’
Bobcat has introduced the first all-steel track option for compact track loaders, similar to those used on bulldozers. Bobcat’s steel tracks present increased pushing force and longer undercarriage life. The tracks suit conditions where rubber or rubber-reinforced steel tracks could become damaged, such as demolition, forestry or earthmoving applications.
