Lumidigm to provide telematics solution at CONEXPO-CON/AGG

Lumidigm customers can verify who operates their equipment with the company’s multispectral imaging sensor, which provides biometric fingerprint authentication. The turnkey telematics solution will be showcased at CONEXPO-CON/AGG as part of the Rugged Telematics Alliance Ecosystem, developed with Methode Electronics.

The fingerprint authentication system works in dry, wet and dirty conditions, and enables the owner to monitor the location and status of the equipment as well as the operator. The multispectral imaging sensors read the subsurface of the skin, ensuring that fingers with dirt or abrasions present may still operate the equipment.
