Lube-A-Boom has introduced a new product to help keep construction equipment clean and shining.

Lube-A-Shine is a “waterless wash and wax product specially crafted with a carnauba wax base made from Brazilian palm leaves,” the company says, and it repels dust and dirt.

It is designed to remove tar, diesel residue, grime, insects, tree sap, grease and other material. It works on non-porous surfaces, including chrome, glass, mirrors, stainless steel and polished metals.

The company says that because it is insoluble to water, it lasts longer on equipment, and it contains no harmful chlorofluorocarbons or abrasives.

“You simply apply Lube-A-Shine to the surface you wish to clean, wait 20-30 seconds and then rub dry with a soft, preferably microfiber cloth,” says Jo Roberts, product development lead. “No prewashing, no water, no scratching and no swirl marks.”

The product comes in a 15-ounce spray can, which you shake first before applying a light coat over a small area of the surface to be cleaned.
