Equipment World has named Front Range Kubota, headquartered in Kiowa, Colorado, as its 2020 Big Iron Dealer of the Year.
This annual award recognizes construction equipment dealers for excellence in meeting customer needs, employing technology, and addressing the parts and service requirements of today’s contractors. Front Range received the 2020 honors due to the company’s customer-focused approach and quick growth.
Front Range was established in 2013 and is owned by Jeff Franken and his son Ben Franken. We’ll have a full profile on Jeff, Ben and the incredible business they’ve built in the last seven years right here on the website and in the November issue of the print magazine.
With Front Range, Jeff and Ben essentially built the dealership they always wished they could buy from. Before opening the dealership the duo operated a multi-faceted contracting business with excavation, tree, logging, fire remediation, trucking and more services that spanned three decades. That eventually business led them to a relationship with Kubota machines that evolved into their current successful venture as a Kubota dealer.
And it’s because of the Franken’s decades-long experience as a customer that they’ve been able to carve out a successful business fueled by loyalty, healthy parts availability and word of mouth sales.
