Florida contractor donates 1 roof for every 10 it sells

At TB Roofing & Construction, the belief is, “the real point in life,” is giving back to the community.

That’s what the St. Petersburg, Florida, company’s Lincoln Sziranko told Bay News 9 TV in a recent report on one of the families TB’s work has benefited.

According to the station, TB partnered with Pathway 2 Success, a non-profit group that rehabs homes, to give Michelle Anthony and her three children a new roof. The family has been living “surrounded by buckets and mold,” due to leaks in their current roof.

TB is donating services and supplies to the family while Pathway will make repairs needed inside the Anthony home.

“For every 10 roofs that we sell retail or residentially, we’re going to be giving one back,” Sziranko told the station. “We all feel blessed to have what we have now and to give back as much as we can. I mean, that’s the real point in life.”
